A prospective student-athlete becomes an ASU student-athlete once he or she:

• Signs an athletics aid agreement or ASU's written offer of admission, completes all high school graduation requirements or transfer academic eligibility requirements and receives benefits or expenses from ASU;

• Participates in practice or competition for ASU that occurs before the beginning of any academic term;
• Enrolls full-time and begins attending fall or spring classes at ASU;
• Attends regular student orientation within 14 days of the first day of the standard academic term.
